8” and 16” models cold cast bronze

As a result of the sculptures he produced as Art coordinator for the U.S. Navy Memorial sculpture wall Leo Irrera was asked to produce a memorial statue representing the chief Petty officer, the work was followed by a commission to produce a female chief as well.  Both were greeted with a good deal of satisfaction especially by the chiefs
